About Us
GSA has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS and national and international policies related to the pandemic. Articles of general interest, IEC on theme, paper for presentation before international conferences by academy personnel, organising national/ regional events as well as conducting project on commercial sex workers under National AIDS Control Programme of the Government of India and workings for BBC World Service Trust’s nation wide media campaign are some of the gestures of our best understanding in the field of HIV/AIDS.
The academy is on the mailing list of leading organisations working on HIV/AIDS. Through them we have access to thousands of documents and libraries and are daily updating our knowledge through information, interaction and support.
AIDS and HIV Information Resource is helping us for this cause through access to 30,000 documentary library and updating daily from leading organisations working on HIV/AIDS , besides CDC, UNAIDS, UNAID, UNDP, UNICEF, IDA, FHI, NACO and many others.
GSA regularly publishes a newsletter titled GSA Newsletter with the financial support of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This newsletter is distributed, free of cost, throughout the nation as well as rest of the world and contains material on HIV/ AIDS and other activities of the academy.
